About this event
This event is fully funded for UK-based SME manufacturers, and can lead to additional funded and non-funded support opportunities.
Please join us on Wednesday 29th November at the Net Zero Technology Centre, 20 Queens Road Aberdeen, to learn how manufacturers are using data and digital technology to overcome resilience and sustainability challenges in their supply chain and improve their competitiveness and profitability. Experts from the Digital Supply Chain Hub and partners will showcase practical examples from Renewable Energies and related sectors including:
- Demonstrating ethical sourcing and compliance with customer trading requirements
- Measuring and designing to reduce emissions on-site and post-manufacture (Scope 3)
- Collaborating with confidence using secure and permission-led digital tools and services
Content on the day will be tailored to participants. There will be an opportunity to join facilitated peer-to-peer discussions on supply chain and supplier challenges you are facing, with expert guidance on potential data and digital technology solutions. SME attendees will be offered fully-funded digital technology roadmapping workshops to deepen the conversation; access to a digital supply chain readiness diagnostic and report; tailored referrals to further regional support and funding, and the opportunity to build a consortium to address any shared challenges.
Who should attend?
This event will be of interest to all senior leaders of SME manufacturing businesses with an interest in Renewable Energy opportunities. Content will also be of interest to individuals with responsibility for supply-chain management, sustainability, manufacturing operations, logistics and customer service. We welcome up to three attendees from each business. Attendance will be limited so early registration is advised.
