Sign up for our afternoon showcase event on Tuesday 7 February 2023 featuring cutting-edge UK businesses who are researching and developing digital supply chain technology to solve critical challenges for UK manufacturing.
Supply chain challenges have never been more in the spotlight than today, with Brexit, Covid 19 and the war in Ukraine all leading to fractured and interrupted flows of goods, money and data across the UK manufacturing and retail sectors.
The Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub has been created to develop and empower a globally competitive, digital innovation ecosystem, working together to address and prepare for the critical supply chain challenges facing UK manufacturing.
In August, the Hub funded five projects addressing key supply chain issues including collaboration and governance, risk and resilience, supply chain mapping and visibility, sustainability and measuring scope 3 emissions, along with supply and demand imbalances.
The programme supported organisations and research bodies to trial and test the use of digital technologies to better prepare for the many factors that can destabilise a supply chain and have a severe impact on the coordination of materials and goods, such as economic instability and unexpected interruptions, natural disasters and the outbreak of war.
The showcase event will be an opportunity to hear from the project leads on their work in addressing these challenges and the solutions they have developed for industry.
This showcase event is an opportunity for supply chain leads and investors to explore these advanced digital solutions and meet the innovators behind the work.
