Future of Supply Chain Labs 2

Taking place at PROTO in Gateshead on Wednesday 9 November, the Future of Supply Chain Labs will help SME manufacturers to discover how to leverage digital technologies and to develop smarter digital supply chains.

Introduction

UK Manufacturing is facing a supply chain crisis. Rising prices, transport delays, materials shortages and working capital pressure. All sectors are being impacted, with small and medium sized manufacturers in the frontlines, squeezed by customer requirements and supplier challenges.

The Made Smarter Innovation | Digital Supply Chain Hub is a digital innovation ecosystem that empowers individuals and organisations to work together to make supply chains smarter. Developed by Digital Catapult and funded by the Made Smarter Innovation challenge at UKRI, the Hub will transform UK manufacturing by accelerating digital innovation – making supply chains more efficient, resilient and sustainable.

The hub is designed to tackle supply chain difficulties head on – by accelerating innovation of digital technologies to target bottlenecks and pinpoint unnecessary waste.
